Late last night, John Morgan Petro secured the final ticket to today’s Tournament of Champions, when he took down our $1,100 buy-in $50,000 Guaranteed Event, where first place ended up being more than the guarantee! On the first hand of three handed action, Juan Lomeli open shoved on the button for about 8,000,000, and Hattori Lopez called with [10h][10c]. Lomeli was dominated with [Qc][10d], and he caught some help on the flop of [Ac][Kd][7h], as a jack would win for him now too. However, the [2s] turn and the [7c]

Hattori Lopez shoved all in preflop with [Ah][5h], and Carlo Rodriguez tanked in the big blind for about two minutes before calling with [As][7s].
