We thought it would be a good time to look back at last year’s Tournament of Champions in honor of today’s Day 1 here at the TOC. Last year saw a field of 562 players come together, and it brought some major poker starts out here to the Commerce Casino. The Day 1 field included stars like Stephen Song, WSOPC Ring all time leaders Maurice Hawkins and Ari Engel, and the reigning Main Event champion at the time, Daniel Weinman. 

104 players ended up bagging for Day 2 of this event, with the top 100 eventually finishing in the money for a $2,400 min cash, and by the end of the day, only 10 remained. Online poker legend Chris Moorman just missed out on Day 3 of that event, finishing in 13th.
