The first ring event of this series is in the books, as Craig Parsley (pictured above) has just taken down the $400 Seniors Event to earn the first of three rings being handed out tonight.

On the final hand of the event, Steven Curran would move all in preflop with [Kd][10h], and he was up against the [Ah][7s] of Parsley. The flop of [Qc][7d][6c] kept Parsley in the lead, and he kept that lead on the [4c] turn and [6d] river.

Parsley will earn $21,974 for his victory, but in addition, he will claim the WSOPC Ring, and one of the last tickets to the Tournament of Champions.
