Heads up in the 40/40 $600 event came down to Nicholas Grippo and Phillip Zangwill. Grippo was ahead the whole way with around 18million in chips vs Zangwill’s 8 million. Final hand Zangwill went all in after about an hour of heads up with AQ off vs Grippo’s A9 off. Grippo flopped a pair of 9’s and they held. This is Grippo’s first time claiming first place and a 6 figure score of $112,000. He says he will be back to play the Main event and the $10,000 event as well. watch the final hand below.
