Samvel Gspoyan (below) raised to 800,000 in the cutoff, and Michael Liang (above) defended his big blind to see a flop of [Ks][10s][6h].

Liang checked to Gspoyan, who fired 1,200,000. Liang check raised all in for 3,2,500,000. Gspoyan rechecked his cards, then called with [9s][8s].

His flush draw was no good though, as Liang showed [Js][4s] for a better draw. The [Jd] turn gave Liang a pair, but meant a queen would now work for Gspoyan. A queen did come on the river, but it was the [Qs], giving both a flush, but Liang the hand.

Liang doubles up to 8,500,000, while Gspoyan is the short stack now with 1,700,000.
