
The two short stacks did battle preflop, as James Pilpa shoved all in with [8h][8d]. Stephen Sharrah woke up with [Ah][Qc] right behind him, and moved all in, but the eights held up on a runout of [10c][7h][2d][7s][6s], crippling Sharrah down to less than three big blinds.
Those chips would go in on the next hand, and James Pilpa would finish the job after flopped a pair of aces to leave Sharrah dead on the turn.
With that, just four players remain, with Jessica Vierling holding a hefty chip lead at the moment.
