After a raise from under the gun from David Baker, Michael Liang defended his big blind as the lone caller.

The two would then get all of Liang’s chips into the middle after the flop came [6s][5d][4c]. Liang had [8c][5c] for a pair and straight draw, but he was trailing the [9h][9s] of Baker. He didn’t trail for long though, as the [8d] turn flipped the script, and the river [Ac] changed nothing.

Liang is up to over eight million now, while Baker is the short stack with 2,500,000.
