
On the final hand of the tournament, Juan Hernandez limped in, then called the shove of David Baker. Hernandez had [Ad][8c], and he was ahead of the [Ah][5c] shown by Baker.
The board came down [Js][9c][2c][7d][Qc], and the eight kicker still played for Hernandez to give him the crown. Baker will take home over $200,000 for second, but the first place prize of $287,850 and the Remington will be going home with Hernandez.
