Ubaid Habib – First place for $48,600

Ubaid Habib closed out a very impressive final table performance in style with a monster hand to take home the title today.

On the final hand, Kale Hutton raised to 600,000, and Ubaid Habib reraised to 2,100,000. Hutton called, and the flop came [Ah][Kc][Jd]. Habib led for 700,000, Hutton called, and the [2h] came on the turn.

Habib kept his foot on the gas with a bet of 2,100,000, just under half of Hutton’s stack, and he once again called to see the [7s] come on the river. Habib casually tossed his bounty chip in to signify an all in bet, and Hutton let out a big sigh, but eventually he found the call with [Jc][10c].

It was no good though, as Habib showed [As][Ks] for top two pair to take home the title. After counting up all of his bounties, $15,200 in total, Habib will take home a first place prize of $48,600.
