Normally we wait until the final table to post the hand histories, but after seeing a big crowd gather around one table, we went over to investigate, and saw what was undoubtedly the biggest pot of the day so far developing.
Blinds: 30,000/60,000
The player under the gun raised, and Sam Weiss, who started the hand with a top five chip stack, called. On the button, chip leader Ediberto Pilotin bumped it up to 450,000. The original raiser folded, and Weiss thought for quite a bit before shoving for 3,330,000.
Pilotin thought for about a minute before calling and tabling [Ac][Kd]. It was a great call, as Weiss showed a dominated [Kh][Qd]. The board ran down [5c][4c][3d][Js][9h], and Pilotin scooped the massive pot to take a commanding lead over the final 32, with a massive stack of 7,700,000.
